Welcome to Kyushu Guide (kyushuguide.com, "this site"), an independent travel blog covering Kyushu and Japan, run from Fukuoka. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how it's used, who it's shared with, and the rights you hold over it.

  • Caddy server access logs — for debugging, performance, and abuse prevention.

  • If other services (e.g. CDN, comment system, email provider) are added, they will be disclosed here.

6. Data Retention

  • Newsletter and member data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Server access logs: typically rotated and deleted within 30–90 days.
  • Analytics data: kept in aggregated or pseudonymised form for long-term trend analysis.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Request corrections to inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten")
